American Airlines has Round-trip South Bend-to-Key West flights at $208 for travel in September!!

This flight might be your end of summer grand fanale or maybe it’s a pat on the back for making it through the summer with a houseful of crazy kids. I love this price and location, and I love that it saves a 4-hour drive from Miami. The only thing I would change is to have it fall outside of hurricane season. Trip insurance can really be helpful, but honestly when the price is this low the insurance premium might not justify the potential savings. Just make sure you have a good cancelation policy on your lodging. This flight from Grand Rapids and Detroit has averaged in the $430’s so this is a huge savings!

It’s easy to have a good time in Key West. The island is full of restaurants and bars, sunsets are spectacular, and you’re surrounded by beautiful water that is teeming with fish. If you’re really feeling adventurous you can visit Dry Tortugas National Park, which is located 70 miles west of Key West! If you end up booking this one, please let me know!
