Delta Airlines has a round-trip Grand Rapids-to-Liberia, Costa Rica flight at $378 for travel in Late October Early November
This is a very similar to the travel deal I posted last night to Belize. This is another Delta flight that is all by itself for travel in late October. Liberia is centrally located to take advantage of all the beach and rainforest activities you can pack into seven days. This flight has averaged between $900-$1000 dollars from Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Chicago so this is a great price if you can make it work. The same flight dates from Detroit and Chicago are in $750’s (see below) so I’m kinda scratching my head at why this price is so low. It’s either a pricing mistake from Delta or there are a ton of Halloween lovers in West Michigan that won’t fly over the holiday. I really have no idea.

Cultural Heritage
Liberia is often referred to as the "White City" due to its charming colonial architecture, including white adobe houses with tiled roofs. The city has a rich cultural heritage, and you can explore its history at the Guanacaste Museum. Additionally, Liberia hosts lively folk festivals, bull riding events, and other cultural celebrations, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in Costa Rican traditions.

For thrill-seekers, Liberia offers an array of adventure activities. From zip-lining through the rainforest canopy and white-water rafting on the Tenorio River to horseback riding to waterfalls and exploring volcanic landscapes, the region provides numerous opportunities to get your adrenaline pumping and create lasting memories.
Eco-Tourism Opportunities
Costa Rica is renowned for its commitment to eco-tourism and conservation. Liberia, as part of this eco-conscious nation, offers eco-lodges, sustainable tours, and activities that promote responsible travel and environmental preservation. Whether you're exploring the rainforest, discovering unique wildlife, or participating in conservation projects, you can have a positive impact on the environment during your visit.
