I know, I know… we just posted a South Bend to Orlando deal yesterday, and I typically don’t love sharing the same destination back-to-back.
But this one was just too good not to pass along.
Frontier Airlines just dropped direct flights from Detroit (DTW) to Orlando (MCO) starting at only $64 round trip this October. The last time we saw Detroit to Orlando prices even close to this low was back in the fall of 2025, so this is definitely a rare drop.
Another important difference from yesterday’s deal: this flight gets you into Orlando International Airport (MCO), while the South Bend Allegiant flight uses Orlando Sanford (SFB). Both can be great options, but MCO puts you closer to Disney, Universal, more rental car options, and the main Orlando tourism corridor.
October is also one of the best times to visit Central Florida:
🎃 Fall events are everywhere — including Halloween celebrations at the major theme parks
☀️ Better weather — warm Florida days without the peak summer heat
🎢 A great park window — many families are back into school routines, which can mean a better experience
🌴 More than theme parks — beaches, natural springs, golf, restaurants, and outdoor adventures are all within reach
Two Great Lakes airports. Two different Orlando options. And now Detroit gets a rock-bottom $64 nonstop flight we haven’t seen in almost a year.
Love seeing this kind of pricing competition.
