I am a school social worker and I have family members (one is a teacher's aide in her mid 70's and one is a school bus driver in her 60's) who are unable to afford to secure something nice like this. It would be a nice respite for us to get together as a family to use the lodge for simple self care.
I would use this opportunity as a way for my five grade school friends and I to get together ~40 years later. We are all going through similar changes in our lives - losing a parent, an empty nest, or the birth of a grandchild. It has been unusually dramatic this past year for a couple of us who have experienced multiple losses in the same family. When we get together, it is like old times with laughter and re-living fond memories. The Leland Lodge would the perfect place to come together to share our joys and sorrows.

I would love to use this getaway for a retreat with my awesome coworkers! We are in the medical field and would really enjoy time away as a team to reset and recharge.
Would love to use this destination for our family, 2 kids and families, to get together and be in the same place. Both families are on fixed budgets, so this would be a nice gift to them. We all love the outdoors and the Leland area would offer some many thing to do. Just to be together would be worth it all.
I would use this to celebrate the nearing end of my college career! I’ve been in college since 2016 and I am tired! I would take my boyfriend with me for a much needed getaway for us. Good luck to everyone!
