Flight Deals, No Paywall, No Gimmicks

Over the past couple of years, I’ve built Great Lakes Travel Deals to help travelers find incredible airfare from airports between Chicago and Toronto and all the major airports in Michigan. I’ve gone back and forth trying to find the right balance between free and paid content. Over the past year and a half, I’ve shifted from mostly free to a mostly paid format, and looking back, I think making it mostly paid was a mistake.

Starting today, everything is free. No paywalls, no barriers—just great flight deals. This shift allows me to focus on what I love: curating the best flight deals, and building a community of like-minded travelers. My mindset moving forward is simple: if I’m providing value, you’ll pay it forward—by sharing deals with friends and family and supporting my work at whatever level works for you.
