Frontier Airlines has direct round-trip flights from Grand Rapids-to-Fort Myers at $116 for travel in November and December!

I took some of my own advice (Link Here) and set my alarm for 1:50am last night! I was able to get one of the 7 family rooms at Many Glacier Hotel for a stay in August 2024! Getting the room was half the battle. Now I need to find a cheap flight and rental car or convince my wife and kids that a cross-country road trip is a good idea! Wish me luck!!

I’ve got some really good news to share!! It looks like Frontier Airlines has returned direct flight service from Grand Rapids-to-Fort Myers for travel this fall and winter! This direct flight option went away last year, and I think it was mostly due to lack of demand for winter travel because of the impacts of Hurricane Ian. I was down in this area last spring and couldn’t believe how many properties were damaged and destroyed. The fact that this direct flight is returning is a good indication that things are bouncing back in Southwest Florida.

With the lack of flight options this route has averaged $240 so far this year. This flight at $118 is a great value and it’s also a great time to be in Southwest Florida.
