Grand Rapids to Philadelphia from $78 Roundtrip (Nonstop)
Back in December, I shared the announcement of Allegiant’s new nonstop service between Grand Rapids and Philadelphia, and I followed it up again in April with discounted summer weekend flights. Unfortunately, this may be your last chance to take advantage of these incredible fares.
Nonstop weekend flights from Grand Rapids (GRR) to Philadelphia (PHL) are currently available starting at just $78 roundtrip for travel August through November. I’ve included Friday–Monday itineraries, making this an easy long weekend getaway. If you’d like a longer stay, simply open one of the flights and adjust the dates to fit your schedule.
The disappointing news? It appears Allegiant is discontinuing the route after November. Winter and spring fares immediately jump back into the $350+ range, so if you’ve been thinking about visiting Philadelphia, now is the time. Hopefully this simply becomes a seasonal route and returns next year.
Philadelphia is one of my favorite cities for a long weekend. Walk through Independence National Historical Park, tour the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, wander the charming streets of Old City, sample local favorites at Reading Terminal Market, run the famous Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, or catch a Phillies or Eagles game if the timing works out.
