The Best International Deals from 2023!
As we wrap up the year it’s important to look back and reflect on some of our successes. I’ve picked through all of the international flight deals from 2023 and have highlighted what I believe to be my top five, which are shown below.

#1 - Detroit-to-Europe - Huge Sale
This was easily my biggest flight deal of the year. I was amazed by how many destinations were priced in the $400’s and included dates for travel November through March. There were literally hundreds of flight destination and date combinations to choose from and almost every single one of them was several hundred dollars off its historical average. Most were at a new all-time lows! Throw in the fact that the flights were on established carriers like Delta and American and this was my best international flight deal of 2023. #2 - Chicago-to-Barcelona $274
As a general rule of thumb anytime you can find a European flight in the $200’s you should seriously consider booking it! This route has historically been in the $550’s so this flight at $274 was an unbelievable deal. This deal was published on 1/2 - Link Here.
#3 - Detroit-to-Sydney, Australia $720
This flight at $720 might not seem like an amazing find, but this was a 50% savings as this route has averaged $1,450. This flight was posted on 2/22 - Link Here.
#4 - Chicago-to-Dublin $306
This was the lowest price I found to Dublin in 2023. This route is typically in the mid $500’s so this was a great deal. This flight was posted on 6/7 - Link Here.
#5 - Detroit-to-Liberia, Costa Rica $196
This flight was a little goofy on the departure, but travelers up for the overnight flight were rewarded with over $700 in savings compared to the historical price. As you can see from the image below this flight was surrounded by $800 flights. This flight was posted on 10/17 - Link Here.
