It’s that time of year again when I start shifting my attention toward spring break flights. I’ll be focusing primarily on March 30 – April 10, 2026, which covers most of the major Michigan school districts — but if your break falls outside those dates, please drop it in the comments below so I can keep an eye out for options that fit your schedule.
Over the years, I’ve uncovered incredible flight deals for subscribers heading to Ireland, Iceland, Anguilla, Switzerland, Curaçao, Florida, Moab, California, and beyond. Helping families and travelers find memorable, affordable getaways has always been one of my favorite parts of this job — and I’m looking forward to doing it all again this spring.

💬 A Personal Note
I also want to take a moment to apologize for the slower summer of flight deals. Many of you probably noticed that I wasn’t publishing or traveling as much. The truth is, this past summer was really challenging.
I was helping transition my parents from their home in northern Michigan into skilled nursing and memory care in Grand Rapids — a process that came with its share of emotional and logistical challenges. And in July, my dad passed away.
My dad lived a full and incredible life. He was a symphony conductor who loved Europe — he studied and even taught there — and had a lifelong passion for train travel, sailing, and good food. He never missed an opportunity to swim in Northport Bay during the summer months. He loved riding his bike, spending time with his grandchildren, and even after multiple heart surgeries, he still took his fruit with full-octane cream and buttered his doughnuts and croissants with unapologetic joy. He was one of a kind — and he will be missed.
For those who’ve already traveled this road — balancing the care of parents, orchestrating visits in different facilities, and the mix of love and exhaustion that comes with it — my heart goes out to you. I see you differently now, with a deep respect and empathy I didn’t fully understand until I lived it myself.

❤️ A Reminder
Life is shorter and more precious than we often realize.
Make sure your plans are in place.
Cherish the people you love while they’re here.
And whenever you can — pack a bag and take that trip!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
